The collections of the Women’s History Archives are ever growing. Currently we house over 270 collections, ranging from very small ones to more extensive ones. Our focus is on women’s history in Iceland and of Icelandic women with emphasis on their non-governmental organizations (NGOs). A list of women’s organizations in Iceland throughout the 19^th and 20^th century, with a touch of the 21^st, is available in Icelandic on our website. We welcome donations from people of all genders and ethnicities as long as it has a connection to Iceland. Please contact us if you would like to know more on how to donate documents.
